Meet Rooka 🐺

Rooka is a tiny dog who has claimed the top of your screen as his own. Every window you open, he's on top of it. Doesn't matter which one. Doesn't matter how many. He was here first, as far as he's concerned.

He won't help you get anything done. Honestly he might make it worse. That's the deal and we think it's a good one.

Stuff he does

Zoomies. Out of nowhere he'll take off across your monitor. Could be a chill little trot. Could be a full-tilt sprint with a dust cloud behind him. Could be a bunch of hops for no reason. Then he flops down like he just won something.

Running commentary. He pipes up in tiny pixel speech bubbles. Says good morning. Tells you a squirrel-related news update you did not request. Reminds you to blink, which is a little judgmental coming from a dog.

Fetch, forever. Toss a ball anywhere on the screen. It actually bounces and rolls. He tears after it, hauls it back in his mouth, drops it more or less at your feet, and then just... looks at you. Throw it again and again. 

Boopable. Click him, he reacts. Double-click him, he hops, clearly thrilled you needed something.

Ten outfits. Grey wolf, arctic white, rust-orange, midnight blue, honey gold, and more. Right-click, pick a look. He's fine with all of them.

Loyal to his spot. Park him wherever and he stays put. Remembers his color too, and whether you shushed him during that call.

He is, however, a dog

He will not close your tabs, sort your downloads, or protect your focus time. His priorities are: the ball, belly rubs, the ball again, and a warm patch of pixels to lie in.

He's also not one of those creepy desktop pals. No calling home, no secret overnight crypto mining, no surprise toolbar, no "just pop in your email real quick." He's just a cute little dog that loves your attention. Enjoy!
